Gerdau
We apply Poly-G, a graphene-to-polyolefin masterbatch that has undergone rigorous industrial testing, on nail packaging at Gerdau plants. The results are remarkable: a 25.3% reduction in packaging weight, a reduction of 72.8 metric tons of plastic per year, and.a 40% reduction in losses in the process due to holes in the nail filling line.
Packseven
In partnership with Packseven, a leader in flexible films, we created the world’s first stretch film with graphene. Thinner and incredibly strong, the stretch film with graphene showed 120% stretching results above average in tests. This reduces pallet consumption and increases safety in cargo transportation. The incorporation of 1% graphene in the new plastic film made the packaging stronger and thinner, reducing total plastic consumption
Pindamonhangaba Plant
It is the first to use paint with the new G2D technology, our graphene-based additive that guarantees an increase in the efficiency and durability of painting in external areas. It achieved results in paint savings (33% less) and less need for repainting (33% reduction), even when exposed to adverse conditions such as bad weather, mechanical stress, and bicycle traffic.
